I am a social media specialist, video editor and freelance writer who has always been passionate about creating. Creativity is the thread that weaves through all aspects of my life. My goal is to pair this creativity with my knowledge and experience to develop professional content for those wishing to broaden their reach on social media or develop their image in a memorable way.
Experience
Social Media
I currently am working on social media content and management for a small business. I have created blog posts, website content, graphics, and more. While I was the House Representative (social media manager) for my dance fraternity in college, our chapter was recognized as the best social media presence by the National Board. Some of my ideas were even adopted by the national page. In the summer of 2017 I ran social media pages, created content, and took photos for a church through a social media internship.
Video Editing
As a content creator with over 775 followers on the live streaming platform Twitch, I have produced a variety of promotional videos as well as created entertaining short form and long form content designed to drive traffic to my main platform. I also edit videos for a content creator on YouTube with over 1.7k subscribers. My first video for this creator became their 4th most viewed video on the platform the week it debuted. I am currently creating short form content for a small business to develop a stronger social media presence through Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok.
Writing/Editing
I graduated Summa Cum Laude with a major in English-Creative Writing from Morehead State University. I have experience editing and writing articles for an honors newsletter and an anthology of translations and was an editorial intern for a regional journal. My own writing has been published in multiple journals.
